We are three average American guys with families and a shared passion
for camping. We have been camping together for over 25 years. We've been
just about everywhere, and where we haven't been, we will be soon.
We decided to start this website out of sheer frustration. We become tired of visiting campground website after campground website only to find that the information we were finding was only half correct. There is very little in the way of details out there when it comes to campgrounds. What we wanted was a comprehensive listing of campgrounds and what they have to offer. What can we expect when we arrive? What activities are available for my family and me? Can I ride my ATVs near by? Go fishing? Hiking? The list goes on. However, such a site did not exist - until now!
We couldn't get the information we wanted and needed from existing sites. There was nothing out there comprehensive enough for our needs. Hey, if you've been to a campground a hundred times, you're pretty comfortable with what it has to offer. However, if you are a bit more adventurous and want to try new places, how do you go about getting information? The Internet, right? Well, we thought so, too. However, after being misled several times by different web sites we decided to take action. Thus eCampGuide.com was born.

Never again will you have to waste hours on end trying to find the perfect campground, only to settle on one you are still not sure of. You can be confident in what you find here. You can compare campgrounds. You can contact the campground management to ask them questions directly. You can reserve that perfect campsite right here. Welcome aboard!
Over the years we have found that all campgrounds have their pluses. But everyone is different. What might be a plus to me may be a negative to you, and vice versa. Either way, you'll find what you're looking for here. Compare and contrast the campgrounds you are considering. Get the details you want. By the time you are done you will know for sure that you have chosen the one that best fits your individual needs. Don't leave it to chance as we have had to in the past.
We've taken our families to more new places than we can count. Camping is great, isn't it? What better way to see a new part of this great country than by doing so in the great outdoors? Our young ones absolutely love it! Collectively the three of us have several different interests - fishing, ATV riding, hiking, hunting, water skiing, rafting, relaxing, you name it. And we want to know ahead of time if the campgrounds we are planning on visiting have what we need?
We've had both good and bad experiences at the many campgrounds we've
visited. Unfortunately, we've had a few too many surprises - some of
them pleasant, most of them not. But expecting one thing and actually
getting another was getting old. With this website, we'd like to cut
down on those surprises both for ourselves and for you.
